Grace started out as a budding gymnast as a youngster in China. But around the age of 10, a local badminton coach saw here and thought she had more potential as a badminton player rather than a gymnast. Grace loved the switch to Badminton and worked her way on to the provincial team for Guang Xi by the age of 14. After 5 more years of hard work, Grace became a member of the Chinese National team in 1990. Grace played mixed doubles for Chinese National Team and is also an accomplish doubles player as well.
